LEADING YOURSELF
Leadership begins with yourself. By leading yourself, you take charge of your actions, and most importantly, your thoughts. Get out of “static inertia” and lead yourself! (Realize that there is much more to it than just that.) Remember that you cannot be an effective leader of others unless you are leading yourself first.

THE CORE: YOUR FOUNDATION
Your Core is your guiding light. There are four elements in the Core, which you need to establish. A strong Core enables you to do the right things and enable you to keep moving in the direction in which you want to go.

COMMUNICATION
Communication should be everyone’s strongest skill. The first art in communication is the art of SPEAKING. It is to do with your voice and how you sound when you speak. Next is the art of COMMUNICATION. It is the skill of influencing people. A Leader needs to have very strong communication skills, at both levels. Leadership of others is only effective when messages are well-worded and well communicated.
